Turakawak Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Turakawak Shrine
The Turakawak Shrine is located at the southwestern edge of the Central Hyrule region, surrounded by thorns beside Lake Illumeni. The best way to get there would be to first head to the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower on the Meadela’s Mantle, launch up, and then glide to the north, past Gerudo Summit, Mystathi’s Shelf, and the Cliffs of Ruvara. Right after the hills, you’ll be able to find the only body of water nearby, called Lake Illumeni. You should be able to see the shrine sitting out in the open, surrounded by thorns, which you can either avoid or burn away with any fire-empowered attack.
How to Complete Turakawak Shrine
Inside and up the stairs, you’ll find yourself in a small room, with a large block with grates that you can climb. As the shrine description suggests, you’ll have to stack these blocks here to traverse the shrine and move forward. Use Ultrahand to place the block near the next platform. Before climbing it and moving forward, jump back down first to the first area after the first set of stairs, and then Ascend up for a chest containing a Magic Rod.
Ascend up to the top of this cage, and then jump down. Head for the stairs in the corner to your right and jump down again. This is where you stopped to go back for the chest. Stack the two blocks on top of each other to reach the ladder again and climb back up. It was important to come back and do this because you’ll need these two blocks when you get back up to the next area. Use Ultrahand to bring them both up to you and then stack them on top of a third block. Place your tower near the ledge past the cage to get to the end of the shrine.
Climb up and examine the green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock the Turakawak Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
