Tenbez is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Tenbez Shrine is a Courage to Jump Shrine testing the player's skills in finding the objectives that will solve the puzzles using Link's abilities. Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. It will still be available for fast travel so that can players return and complete the Shrine at a later time.

Tenbez Shrine Walkthrough Guide

Reaching Tenbez Shrine

The Tenbez Shrine is located in the vicinity of the North Lomei Castle Top Floor in the Hebra Sky. While it is in the labyrinth's vicinity, you don’t actually have to go through the maze to access the shrine. However, the floating labyrinth is the highest structure in the northwestern area of the whole map, so it'll be a bit difficult to get to. You’ll need either some Stamina Food, or some Zonaite Devices packed, specifically some Fans or Rockets, some Batteries, and a Steering Stick. If you have the Stamina Food, or at least two bars of Stamina, head first to the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower, launch up, and then glide to the northwest. You should be able to see the labyrinth as a large square building floating in that direction. By using Tulin’s ability every time it’s off cooldown, you’ll barely be able to make it to the top of the labyrinth with two Stamina bars, so you can consume Stamina Food to be safe. If you don’t have the Stamina or Stamina Food, head first to the Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower instead, and then glide to the northeast. You should be able to see the labyrinth in that direction as well. For now though, you just want to make it to the cross-shaped island in the same direction, in the East Hebra Sky Archipelago. Rotate the lever to point the inclined piston to another island to the north and then hop on it for a free ride. There should be a floating platform here that you can Attach Rockets and Fans to, as well as Batteries and a Steering Stick, so you can ultimately ride it to the labyrinth to the east. Whichever route you need to take, the shrine is waiting at the entrance of the labyrinth, on its west side.

How to Complete Tenbez Shrine

Inside and up the stairs, you’ll find yourself in a large chamber. There seems to be some sort of device ahead of you. Behind it, on either side of the room, are pistons which are periodically passing a large sphere back and forth. High above the wall behind the left piston is a target that the sphere needs to hit. The device ahead of you is actually a switch that decreases the gravity in the room. As the shrine description suggests, you’ll have to manipulate gravity here to change the momentum of moving objects, in order to ultimately manipulate where and how they move. For this first section, you’ll want to wait until the sphere is resting on the piston on the right. Once it’s there, hit the switch so that the piston sends the sphere upward instead of the other side of the room due to the decreased gravity, so it ultimately hits the target up on the wall. A gate will open above the wall behind the right piston this time. With the gravity still decreased, head up to the left piston for a free ride to the opened gate. Before you move forward in the next area, turn around and you should see a small cavity on the wall under the target you just hit. Glide to it for a chest containing a Large Zonai Charge. Drop back down to the piston for a ride back to the next section.

In the next section, you should be able to find the gravity switch up the stairs on your left. On the opposite side of the room is the target, blocked off by tall grates. Near it is another piston for the sphere. Head to the switch and wait for a sphere to fly into the room and slowly roll onto the piston here. Once the piston pushes it up and over the grates, quickly hit the switch to reset gravity and have the sphere fall right onto the target.

Head back down the stairs and out of the newly opened gate. Examine the green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock the Tenbez Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
