Suariwak is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Suariwak Shrine is a special Shrine, usually containing no further puzzles, that you'll only be able to access after completing its corresponding Side Adventure. Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. It will still be available for fast travel so that can players return and complete the Shrine at a later time.

Suariwak Walkthrough Guide

Reaching Suariwak

The Suariwak Shrine is located in the northeastern area of the Gerudo region, in the Yiga Blademaster Station, along the ridges of Zirco Mesa and Taafei Hill. The best way to find the shrine is to complete the Side Adventure The Yiga Clan Exam. To start the Side Adventure, first make sure that you have acquired and equipped the Yiga Set, which you can get by defeating Yiga Footsoldiers and Yiga Blademasters in the Great Plateau for the Yiga Mask, Akkala Ancient Tech Lab for the Yiga Armor, and the Yiga Clan Maritta Branch for the Yiga Tights, and talking to the corresponding NPCs there.

For an in-depth guide detailing the stats of the Yiga Set and where exactly to get its pieces, you can visit our Yiga Set page here.

Once you have the Yiga Set equipped, you can find the Yiga Blademaster Station by foot or on a horse, by starting from the Outskirt Stable and following the path to the southwest, past a section of the River of the Dead, and up to the Koukot Plateau. Past the bridge, follow the path to the west into an area behind or under the waterfall, keeping an eye out for an opening marked by two Yiga frog statues. Alternatively, you can Fast Travel first to the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower and then head north toward the waterfall. No need to launch up. As you glide to the waterfall, head to an opening below it, and then keep walking along the ridge to find the Yiga frog statues. Enter the door in the opening to get to the Yiga Blademaster Station

How to Complete Suariwak

Speak to the Yiga Blademaster inside to begin the Side Adventure. You’ll have to offer a Mighty Banana to each of the five specific frog statues around the area. Don’t worry, he’ll provide you with the bananas and show you where the statues are. The closest one is right under the bridge you may have used to get here. The next one will be further down to the southwest, under some wooden platforms along the ridges of Gerudo Canyon. The farthest one to the east will be in a cave within Mount Nabooru. Glide out to its eastern side and look for wooden platforms leading to a waterfall. The opening created by the waterfall is the entrance to the Mount Nabooru Cave. The frog statue is in a cavern that the path on the right side of the waterfall leads to. The farthest one to the west will be in a section of the Gerudo Canyon that lies north of the East Gerudo Ruins. Head to its northern side, opposite the ruins, near Turakamik Shrine, and then head south to find an opening along the canyon. Climb up and enter it to get to the Gerudo Canyon Mine. You’ll find the frog statue in a crevice on the upper levels. The last statue will be just southeast of the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower in the middle of the hot springs. Once you’ve placed a banana before all five statues, head back to the Yiga Blademaster Station and speak to the Yiga Blademaster again to complete the Side Adventure. This will allow you to enter the door behind him which houses two chests, containing a Ruby and an Eightfold Longblade +. Further behind it will be the shrine entrance.

Inside will be a chest containing a Big Battery. Head up the stairs and examine the green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock Suariwak Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
