Items in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom contain all obtainable items such as Key Items, Consumables, and Materials. Items can be obtained as drops from Enemies and Bosses, given by NPCs, or found throughout all of Hyrule. In the previous game Zelda: Breath of the Wild, there was the encyclopedia called the Hyrule Compendium, which stores all materials, equipment, treasure, and even creatures and enemies once you come across them. By taking a picture with the Camera Rune, it will automatically be added to the Compendium, and it'll show all useful information about each entry including it's uses and common locations. This feature may be added again in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
