Kadaunar Shrine is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Kadaunar Shrine is the Shrine that features Water Makes a Way. This Shrine allows players to experiment with the effects of water and how it reacts to the elements. Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. It will still be available for fast travel so that can players return and complete the Shrine at a later time.

Kadaunar Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Kadaunar Shrine
Kadaunar Shrine is in the sky and can be reached by using the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower. Launch up on the tower and you should be able to and directly to South Eldin Sky Archipelago. The closest landing site should have a Soldier Contruct I and a couple of rail tracks and Mine Carts. Clear the area and another Construct should arrive shortly on a Mine Cart. Clear it away and use the Cart with a Fan pre-attached. Turn it around so that the Fan is behind and attach a battery to it if you need to. You should be able to find a Battery on the ground. Strike the cart anywhere to activate it.
Ride the Mine Cart to the next area and you should find yourself on the lower part of the island. Use Ascend to get to the higher level. Clear the area for additional loot and a Map. Use ascent again to get to the top. There will be another rail track towards the east of the island with a few Mine Carts and Fans you can use. Attach the Fan to the cart again and make your way across to the next island the same way. You are almost at the shrine. There will be a small gap between this platform and the platform to the north. Glide across the gap and climb the rest of the way to reach the cross-shaped island. The Shrine will be to the left.
How to Complete Kadaunar Shrine
Upon entering the Shrine, you are provided with a Hydrant on the left. There is an example of an activated Hyrdant and how the water reacts with the lava to the right. You should see that it creates a sturdy rock slat. Strike the provided Hydrant to activate it and either carry it or use Ultrahand to move it. You can either now use a variety of Link's abilities to get across such as Recall. Or you can continue to create new slats while walking on newly formed slat. You can also choose to remake a bridge by sweeping the activated hydrant across the lava.
