Kimayat is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Kimayat Shrine is a Proving Grounds: Smash Shrine pitting Link against powerful enemies using only the Equipment and environmental items the Shrine provides for him. Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. It will still be available for fast travel so that can players return and complete the Shrine at a later time.

Kimayat Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Kimayat Shrine
This shrine imprisons and purifies the ancient evil.
The Kimayat Shrine is located on the northernmost edge of the Eldin Region, along Eldin’s Flank, and far west of Skull Lake. There’s no special or easy way to get there. You can keep going northeast from Goron City, climb up past Sibajitak Shrine (or start from there of course if you have it cleared already), jump down, and glide further northeast until you find the shrine. Alternatively, you can clear this shrine along with anything you have to do up Death Mountain; after your business atop the mountain, glide down to the north until you find the shrine.
How to Complete Kimayat Shrine
Outside equipment is forbidden beyond this point.
When you enter the shrine you will be stripped of all your Equipment. Ahead and to the right you will find the only Equipment you are allowed to use in this shrine - a Wooden Stick, a Long Stick, an Old Wooden Bow, and ten Arrows. After you grab them and move forward, you’ll find yourself in a large room with some elevated platforms and multiple Enemies. If you head to the left behind the walls you’ll find some Ice Fruits, and two Spiked Iron Balls on top of a high platform held up by breakable pillars. As the shrine description suggests, you’ll have to defeat all the Enemies, some of them by destroying the pillars they stand on, to prove yourself and clear the shrine. Fuse these Spiked Iron Balls with your weapons and head back down. Once the Enemies are alerted to your presence, the nearest ones on the ground floor will come after you, which will be two Soldier Construct IIs and a Soldier Construct I. You can destroy the pillars to smash them with the platform that’ll fall down. Use the Ice Fruit to make some platforms on the water you can stand on and then destroy one of the pillars holding the middle platform above water to send the last two Soldier Constructs Is crashing down.
Your equipment will be returned to you.
Defeat all five Enemies and you’ll be given all your gear back. A gate will unlock that and behind it will be a chest containing a Captain III Reaper. Examine the structure behind the chest with green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock the Kimayat Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
