Tsutsu-um Shrine Walkthrough Guide

Reaching Tsutsu-um Shrine

Tsutsu-um is located southwest of Hyrule Field just next to Outskirt Stable. From Hyrule Field, follow the paths southwest past the Coliseum Ruins. It should be located just before the Digdogg Suspension bridge.

How to Complete Tsutsu-um Shrine

This Shrine introduces the abilities of the Stake, an available Zonai Device. Upon entering the Shrine players will find a platform that will be pre-attached to a Stake. There will also already be a Stake attached to the side of the column to the left. This is where you need to go first. Players new to the Stake can now experiment with the uses of this Device while working through the Shrine.

  • Stake: A Zonai device that can be fixed in place on the ground or on a wall. They've been used as footholds and building foundations because of their immovability when planted.

For the first part of the shrine, use Ultrahand on the Stake and platform. Rotate the Stake so that it faces the column. Push it towards the column while it is at its lowest point and it should effortlessly go through. Let go of it and it should solidify giving you a secure rising platform. Wait for it to raise then glide down to the next area.

Platform 2

In this area, you will find a draft that can launch Link up. Use it to glide onto the elevated platform with the chest on top. Open it to gain Arrow x5. Use the air gust again to take to the next platform where you will see the ball regularly rolling out from the tunnel on the wall.

Platform 3

There will be a few Stakes pre-attached nearby. Take one Stake and position it directly in front of the opening where the ball exits. Next, take another Stake and position it underneath the rotating platform so that it creates a path for the ball to roll toward the wheel on the right. If the angle is right, the ball would roll directly onto the railing lining the lower part of the wheel.

If you can't seem to get the ramp angle right, you can try to catch the ball instead by making sure another Stake is at the end of the ramp to catch the ball. Once you have control of the ball, use Ultrahand to drop it onto the railing that lines the bottom of the giant rotating wheel. It should securely hold the ball.

Next, reposition one of the stakes and insert it into the outer area of the wheel so that when it rotates, it catches and drags the ball along with it, carrying it to the final ball slot. If you're impatient, you can also manually guide the ball into the slot with Utltrahand.

Finally, make your way into the final chamber and complete the Shrine.
