Oshozan-u is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Oshozan-u Shrine is a Mallet Smash Shrine testing the player's skills in finding the objectives that will solve the puzzles using Link's abilities. Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. It will still be available for fast travel so that can players return and complete the Shrine at a later time.

Oshozan-u Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Oshozan-u Shrine
The Oshozan-u Shrine is located in the easternmost area of the Hebra Region, east of the North Tabantha Snowfield. To get there, head to the Snowfield Stable and then ride to the north end of the region. It should be on top of a rock formation to your right, right before turning east to the path leading to the North Lomei Labyrinth. You can climb up to it if you have enough stamina. Otherwise, you can head a bit further north first to find some blacks that have fallen from the sky. Get on top of one and then use Recall on it for a free ride up and then glide to the shrine from above.
How to Complete Oshozan-u Shrine
Inside and down the stairs will be a large gate in front of you, a Rocket, and a log to your right. Past them will be a block attached to a slider leading up to a circular structure on the far right wall. As the shrine’s description suggests, the objective here is to create a makeshift mallet to hit the target structure with. To do that, attach the log to the right of the block first, making sure it’s parallel to the slider. Attach the Rocket to the back of the log, pointing toward the target. Hit the Rocket to shoot your log up along the slider and hit the target. The large gate behind you should open so you can move forward. In the next chamber, there should be a short log and a long log to your right. Above them should be a wheel and then a circular structure further up to the right. Near you should be another Rocket, and the left side of the room will have a chest containing a Zonaite Bow on top of a short tower with a slit in the middle. You can use the longer log and place it vertically on the slit to climb up to the chest. Head to the wheel on the right side of the room and attach the short log to its side, parallel to its circumference. There are four flat sides around the wheel that should help you with this. Next, attach the longer log to the end of the short log to make sure it can reach the target. The weight should cause the wheel to spin counterclockwise. Lastly, attach the Rocket to your logs, making sure it points either to the target or toward the part of the log that isn’t attached to the wheel. Hit the Rocket and watch the wheel spin to ultimately smash the log into the target, and open the last gate.
Head out of the newly-opened gate and examine the green runes for a Light of Blessing and unlock the Oshozan-u Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
