Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. Gasas Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Gasas Shrine
The Gasas Shrine is located on the southwest edge of the Hebra region, right at the border of the Gerudo region, and at the southern edge of the Tanagar Canyon along the Tabantha Frontier. The best way to get there would be to head to Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, launch up, and head north toward Tanagar Canyon, past Hemaar’s Descent. The shrine should be sitting just out in the open on a small cliff on the southern edge of the canyon.
How to Complete Gasas Shrine
Inside and down the stairs, you’ll find yourself in a wide hall. Ahead of you is a large chute, with a block dangling down with a rope from inside the chute. As the shrine description suggests, the puzzles here will be all about cutting the ropes the right way and at the right time to move forward. Aim at the rope with your bow so you can cross the gap using the block. If you’re lacking Arrows, the barrels on your left are hiding some under them.
To get to the next platform, you can either use Ultrahand on the block here to hold it up to the upper level and then let it drop so you can get on it and use Recall on it for a free ride up, or get the previous block you used and Attach it to the next block in a way that creates stairs to the upper level so you can Ascend up from below it. Either way, when you get up there, attach the two plates together to make a bridge and cross it to the next platform. On your right should be a chest dangling on a rope. Put your bridge under the chest and then shoot the rope to cut it and reach the chest, containing a Large Zonai Charge.
Ahead of you will be a green wall with a slot for a key. The key is in a chest dangling from another rope on your left. Grab the bridge you made again, but this time Attach a block to one end to make a weight. Place your creation in such a way that the bridge will be able to catch the chest as you shoot the rope. Grab the Small Key from the chest and examine the green wall to put it in its intended slot. The green wall will give way for you to reach the next area.
In the next room, you’ll see a runed-plate to your left, and its corresponding runed-sphere is on your right, dangling from a rope again. From the middle of the room, use Ultrahand to pull the sphere toward you to let it start swinging. Shoot the rope as the sphere swings toward you so that it doesn’t fall down the gap on the side of the room. Use Ultrahand to put the sphere in its intended slot on the runed-plate.
Head out the gate that just opened and examine the green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock the Gasas Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
