Jochi-iu Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Jochi-iu Shrine
The Jochi-iu Shrine is located in the northeast area of the Akkala region, along the North Akkala Foothills. To get there, make your way to the East Akkala Stable and follow the road northeast. Keep your eye out for the shrine’s usual swirling green lights.
How to Complete Jochi-iu Shrine
Inside and down the stairs, you’ll find yourself on a spacious platform in a large room. Ahead of you to the right is a runed plate. The corresponding runed sphere to go with it sits on top of a Jenga tower sitting after a downward slope, further ahead in the room. As the shrine description suggests, you’ll have to pluck out some blocks from the tower in order to complete this shrine. If you use Ultrahand and look behind the tower, there’s a chest at the base containing a Large Zonaite. Use Ultrahand to grab any of the blocks on the side of the tower, and turn around first to find another chest on your right on an elevated platform. Use the block as a ladder to head up there and get the Zonaite Bow inside.
Head to the right side of the room and you’ll notice a power source leading to a small platform, or it would be if not for a disconnected electric line. The blocks from the Jenga tower can actually conduct electricity. You’ll need another one to be able to connect the current so use Ultrahand to grab another safe block from the sides of the tower. Position your two blocks so that they can connect the electrical lines, and the small platform will start moving forward and backward. Jump on it and then grab the runed sphere with Ultrahand when you get close to the tower. Place it in its intended slot on the runed plate as the platform moves back.
Head out the gate that will open and examine the green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock the Jochi-iu Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
