Zakusu Shrine is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Zakusu Shrine is the Shrine that features Proving Grounds: Ascension. Proving Grounds Shrines require players to face a number of Constructs in a shrine and clear them in order to complete the Shrine. Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. It will still be available for fast travel so that can players return and complete the Shrine at a later time.

Zakusu Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Zakusu Shrine
Players can find this Shrine by completing the Shrine Quest: The High Spring and the Light Rings.
At the Spring of Wisdom near the summit of Mount Lanayru, Nazbi told you this legend: "Skim across snow, from the spring high in the heavens to the mountain below. Pass through the rings of light to see the Light of Blessing."
Once you get to the Spring of Wisdom, you will find someone named Nazbi, talk to him and he will tell you about a legend relating to the treasure. Once you learn about this, go to the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower and launch yourself up and glide Southeast to a sky island that had a horseshoe-shaped pool. Activate the Sheikah Glyph for the rings to show up, you would then have to go shield sledding down through the green rings. Sled through the first ring and you will continue to fall back to the surface. Make sure you activate your glider as you approach the ground before you take out your shield to continue shield surfing through the snow otherwise, you will take fall damage.
Continue to sled shield surf on the snow through the rings consistently without walking. Do not miss a ring or you will need to start again. Hitting the last ring will reveal the Shrine. Completing this will activate the Shrine.
How to Complete Zakusu Shrine
This shrine imprisons and purifies the ancient evil.
Outside equipment is forbidden beyond this point.
The Zakusu Shrine is a Construct combat arena where players will need to clear the constructs in the Shrine to continue. You will be stripped of all outside equipment, but the shrine will provide you with a starting set of gear to get through the shrine. Pick them up from the Weapons rack on the left before entering the arena.
Approach any Construct to reveal the overall health bar. If you get a good angle, you can use your bow to shoot at any Constructs from below. Next, go all the way to the other side where you will find another Soldier Construct. Clear the Construct and there will be two more weapons for you leaning by the wall. Pick up the Wooden Stick and the Torch. You can now use the Hot Air Balloon to ascend all the way up and work your way down.
Be careful of the shock arrows that the Soldier Construct on top will be able to shoot. On the highest floor, you will also be provided with a few additional Zonai Devices that you can Fuse to your weapons to strengthen them. You will find a Flame Emitter and a couple of Rocket devices. Clear the area and continue working your way down while clearing each floor. Fuse new weapons if you have to and once you have cleared all the soldier Constructs, the gate to the final chamber will open and you can complete the Shrine.
