Ihen-a Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Ihen-a Shrine
The Ihen-a Shrine is located north of the central area of the Lanayru Region, in the Lanayru Great Spring. There’s no easy or special way to get there, but you can start by heading east from Zora’s Domain. Keep going east past Lulu Lake until you reach Mipha Court. The shrine sits just north of the court. It'll be covered by some muck, so hit it with any water-empowered attack first to access the entrance.
How to Complete Ihen-a Shrine
Inside and down the stairs, you’ll find yourself in a large hall with some floating Hover Stones. As the shrine description suggests, you’ll have to use Hover Stones as perches to move forward. Use Ultrahand to position them in a way that lets you get up the platform and move forward. Follow the path and turn the corner to another large hall with a single Hover Stone. Activate it and let it float in the middle of the gap. Take the long grate on your right and let it sit on top of the Hover Stone to act as a bridge for you to cross to the other side. Once across, you’ll have to reach a higher platform across another gap using the same concept. Detach your makeshift bridge and place the Hover Stone close to the higher platform first, and then Attach the grate to it, inclining downward. Head up the grate to cross the gap.
In the next room, there’ll be a switch pillar and a runed sphere in addition to the Hover Stones. Turn around first as you enter and you’ll see a chest above you on the wall containing five Arrows. Place a Hover Stone at almost the same height and then Ascend to it to get to the chest. Head down and Attach the runed sphere on top of an activated Hover Stone near a sideways block. Get on top of it yourself, and then hit the switch from afar for a free ride across the gap, all the way to the other side of the room. On the other side, place the sphere in its intended slot on the runed plate.
Head out the gate that will open and examine the green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock the Ihen-a Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
