Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. Gemimik Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Gemimik Shrine
The Gemimik Shrine is located in the northeast area of the Akkala region, in the Rist Peninsula, past Malin Bay. The easiest way to get there would be to head to Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower, launch up, and then glide to the east. It’s quite a ways away but if you fall short at any point, simply try and make it to Malin Bay and then follow the spiral path along the Rist Peninsula to get to the shrine.
How to Complete Gemimik Shrine
Inside and down the stairs, you’ll find yourself in a large room with floating pillars with a turbine in the middle. As the shrine description suggests, you’ll have to make use of this turbine to complete the shrine. Head to the right first and get the blades and Attach them to the turbine to complete it. On your left will be the power source for the turbine. The plate nearby is conductive so place it in the middle of the lines to complete the current and activate the turbine. Head up the stairs on the right side of the room and jump on the gust of wind for a boost up. Turn around to your right first as you shoot up to find a chest containing a Mighty Zonaite Shield. Jump down to the gust of wind to shoot back up again and this time glide across to the other side where some Fire Emitters are. You can get the one that’s activated already and drop it on the ground floor. Drop down and then disconnect the current first. Attach the Fire Emitter to one of the blades of the turbine facing outward. Reconnect the current again so that the turbine, equipped with the emitter, will light all the pillars fast enough before the water takes out the fires.
Head out the gate that will open and examine the green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock the Gemimik Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
