Kamizun Shrine is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Kamizun Shrine is a Beginner Proving Grounds Shrine, pitting Link against powerful enemies using only the items the Shrine provides for him. Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Kamizun Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Kamizun Shrine
This shrine imprisons and purifies the ancient evil.
The Kamizun Shrine can be found to the north-west of the surface entrance to the Forest of Time Chasm. You can teleport to the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower and head south-east to find the shrine.
How to complete the Kamizun Shrine
Outside equipment is forbidden beyond this point.
When you enter the shrine, you will be stripped of all your equipment. Ahead and to your right, you'll find the only equipment you can use in this Shrine — a Wooden Stick, Old Wooden Shield, Old Wooden Bow, and 10 Arrows. Further ahead, you'll see a large room with some platforms and enemies. Head down the ramp when you are ready.
You can stay hidden behind the first wide pillar in front of you before you initiate the fight. There are a few environmental items around that can help you — a Boulder on your left, a Barrel on your right, and a Spiked Iron Ball at the other side of the room. Start by Fusing the Boulder onto your Wooden Stick to increase it's damage, or if you're feeling brave, you can run up to the Spiked Iron Ball and Fuse that for a bigger damage boost. Whichever item you don't Fuse now, you can Fuse onto your equipment after the Shrine has been completed.
Once you walk past the first pillar, the enemies in the room will notice you and the fight will begin. A large health bar will appear at the top of your screen indicating the combined health pools of all the enemies in the room. You will have to defeat 4 Constructs with your current gear, three Soldier Construct I and a Soldier Construct II. Be crafty and use all the items available to you to defeat them. The Soldier Construct on the tall pillar can be defeated with your Bow & Arrows or by throwing the Barrel at it, and the other three Constructs can be defeated however you see fit. Any dropped loot will disappear after the Shrine has been completed.
Your equipment will be returned to you.
Defeat all four enemies and you'll be given all your gear back. Fuse the Boulder or Spiked Iron Ball onto any of your weapons if you wish, then head through the now unlocked gate at the far side of the room. There a Spring Shield inside the chest. Interact with the green structure at the end to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock the Kamizun Shrine for Fast Travel.
