Gikaku is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Gikaku Shrine is a special Shrine, usually containing no further puzzles, that you'll only be able to access after completing its corresponding Shrine Quest. Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. It will still be available for fast travel so that can players return and complete the Shrine at a later time.

Gikaku Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Gikaku
The Gikaku Shrine is located in the western area of the Sky Mine, at the Sokkala Sky Archipelago in the Akkala Sky. To get there, head first to the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower in the Akkala Highlands, launch up, and then glide to the east to get to the Sokkala Sky Archipelago. You want to aim for a small island where you can see a construct moving around. Head for its eastern edge to find a Hovercraft. Attach as many more Batteries as you would like, just in case, and then ride it up and to the east. You should see two identical plus-shaped islands positioned side by side. Head for the lower one to find the shrine entrance at its northwestern edge.
How to Complete Gikaku
Examining the runes will start the Shrine Quest The Sky Mine Crystal, which you’ll have to complete to allow entrance into the shrine. To do so, you’ll have to find the crystal, which the green light from the shrine should now be pointing to, and bring it back to the shrine entrance. You’ll notice that the green beam of light shooting from the shrine is pointing to a smaller island above you to the northwest, higher than yet another plus-shaped island. Head to the southwestern edge of this island and examine the green runes on the structure to activate the piston in the middle. Position Link in front of it for a free ride up to the next plus-shaped island. You’ll see that the piston here is already activated, so just rotate the lever so that the piston is pointed toward the next plus-shaped island above you to the south. Like on the previous island, hop on it for a free ride upward.
The piston is already activated on this island as well, so rotate the lever in the middle until the piston is pointing to the northwest. You’re aiming for a smaller circular island overhead, past a floating square platform. Hop onto the piston for a free ride upward to find the shrine crystal. If you follow the direction of the green light, you’ll see that the shrine entrance is actually just below you to the north, so you can just use Ultrahand to drop the shrine crystal directly below. Quickly jump and dive after it just in case it rolls over and falls further down. Bring the crystal in front of the shrine entrance to complete the Shrine Quest and allow yourself entry.
You who offers the crystal. I will grant you a light that banishes evil.
Inside will be a chest containing a Ruby. Head up the stairs and examine the green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock Gikaku Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
