Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Stats

Overall, understanding and managing these stats and attributes is crucial for succeeding in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, as they can greatly affect Link's performance in combat, exploration, and other activities. By increasing certain stats and wearing the right gear, players can customize Link's abilities to suit their playstyle and overcome the challenges they face.

Hearts

This stat represents Link's overall health. Each heart represents one hit point, and when Link takes damage, he loses one or more hearts depending on the severity of the attack. To increase his maximum number of hearts, Link can either complete certain quests or find and exchange Spirit Orbs with Goddess Statues. The more hearts Link has, the more damage he can take before losing a life. Hearts can also be replenished with food or potions.

Attack Power

This stat reflects the strength of Link's attacks. The higher the attack power, the more damage he can inflict on enemies. Link's attack power can be increased by using stronger weapons, eating certain foods, or wearing certain armor. The type of weapon or attack Link uses also affects his attack power; for example, using a two-handed weapon will generally deal more damage than using a one-handed weapon.

Speed

This stat determines how fast Link can move, both on foot and on horseback. Link's speed can be affected by the terrain he's traveling on, the weather, and the type of equipment he's using. For example, wearing heavy armor or carrying a heavy load will slow Link down, while wearing light armor or using certain items can increase his speed.

Resistance

This stat represents Link's ability to resist certain types of damage, such as fire, electricity, and cold. Link's resistance can be increased by wearing certain armor sets or eating certain foods. For example, eating a meal made with spicy peppers will increase Link's resistance to cold weather, while wearing the Rubber Armor set will make Link immune to electricity.

Stamina

This attribute determines how much physical activity Link can perform before becoming exhausted. Stamina is used when running, climbing, swimming, gliding, and other actions that require physical exertion. Link's maximum stamina can be increased by completing certain quests or finding and exchanging Spirit Orbs with Goddess Statues. When Link runs out of stamina, he becomes temporarily exhausted and must wait for it to recharge before he can perform strenuous activities again.

Defense

This attribute indicates how well Link can resist damage. The higher the defense, the less damage he takes from enemy attacks. Link's defense can be increased by wearing stronger armor, eating certain foods, or using certain shields. Some armor sets also provide additional bonuses, such as increasing Link's resistance to certain types of damage or reducing the stamina cost of certain activities

Stealth

This attribute determines how well Link can avoid detection by enemies. The higher the stealth, the easier it is for him to sneak up on foes undetected. Link's stealth can be increased by wearing certain armor sets, using certain items, or crouching and moving slowly. Sneaking up on enemies undetected can provide several advantages, such as allowing Link to perform a critical hit or avoiding combat altogether.

Weapon and Armor Durability

This attribute refers to how long Link's weapons and armor last before breaking. Each time Link uses a weapon or takes damage while wearing armor, its durability decreases. When a weapon or piece of armor's durability reaches zero, it breaks and must be replaced or repaired. Some weapons and armor have higher durability than others, and Link can increase their durability by finding and using certain items or by upgrading them at certain locations.

Did someone confuse TotK with a different game? I've yet to encounter any weapon that has a level, nor have I encountered a blacksmith. (Unless you count the people who make the Champion weapons but they make brand new weapons they don't upgrade anything.)
