Kiuyoyou Shrine is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Kiuyoyou Shrine is the Shrine that features a trial of Fire and Ice. This Shrine allows players to experiment with the effects of Fire and Ice together. Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. It will still be available for fast travel so that can players return and complete the Shrine at a later time.

Kiuyoyou Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Kiuyoyou Shrine
Kiuyoyou Shrine is along the path on the way to the Forgotten Temple from the New Serenne Stable. Follow the path north until you pass the Linfor's Brow Skyview Tower and then eventually reach the Rowan Plain. The Shrine will be just to your left.
How to Complete Kiuyoyou Shrine
This Shrine begins with a contrast of fire and ice. When you enter the shrine and head down the stairs, the first thing you will see is a block of ice to your left and beams of fire to the right. When you go further in you will notice two locked gateways. Once to the end of the shrine and one to another room to the left. Notice the room to the left will have a button just next to it. You need an object to weigh down the button so you can get through. Notice the beams of fire are also streaming over a very large button that will need a very large object to weigh it down.
Since the ice block is too big, you need to melt it a little. Use your Ultrahand to grab the ice block and quickly pass it through the beams of fire. Do it quickly since the heat is strong and the ice will rapidly shrink. Just get it small enough to fit the space above the button. When the ice is small enough, drag it onto the button. The gate will open and you will be free to pass. Once you're through, the Shrine chest will be to the left. Take the same block of ice and drag it through the gate. Put it on the little platform so that you can use Ascend then use the ice to climb to the higher part of the platform to reach the chest. You will gain a
When you're ready, take your glider and cross over to the other side. Here, there will be another stream of fire and a continuous falling ice block that melts upon contact. On the right is a large square platform. Use the platform to block the flames and prevent the ice from melting. Wait for the next ice block to fall. Take the next large ice block out of the path of the stream of fire. Remove the large platform then attach the platform directly on top of the ice. The ice needs to be on the bottom because it needs to slide over the rows of spikes. Take the whole ice block with the platform and place it on the row of spikes and it will slide down to the other side. Glide back over. Use the gust of wind if you need extra height to land.
Once you're back in the first room, you can now take your ice block with the platform as is and put it underneath the stream of fire so it can weigh down the large button underneath. This will unlock the final gate and you can access the end of the Shrine and gain your Light of Blessing.
