Otak is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Otak Shrine is a Proving Grounds: Traps Shrine pitting Link against powerful enemies using only the Equipment and environmental items the Shrine provides for him. Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. It will still be available for fast travel so that can players return and complete the Shrine at a later time.

Otak Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Otak Shrine
This shrine imprisons and purifies the ancient evil.
The Otak Shrine is be located in the Icefall Foothills Cave, in the northwest corner of the entire Surface map. In the Icefall Foothills, the large cave entrance should be to the south, blocked off by ice which you can melt with any fire-empowered attack. Inside will be smaller blocks of ice hindering you, which you can either melt or ignore. You’ll need to melt more ice blocking the path further south, where you’ll find a hole sealed by a thin sheet of ice. Break it and jump down to find a Silver Bokoblin, Blue Bokoblin, and a Black Bokoblin settled around a campfire. In the direction of the campfire, there should be a small hole blocked by ice above you to the right. Melt the ice and then climb up into the hole to find the shrine.
How to Complete Otak Shrine
Outside equipment is forbidden beyond this point.
When you enter the shrine you will be stripped of all your Equipment. Ahead and to the left you will find the only Equipment you are allowed to use in this shrine - a Thick Stick, an Old Wooden Bow, and ten Arrows. After you grab them and move forward, you’ll find yourself in a large room with a couple of sets of stairs to platforms with enemies on them. You’ll have to defeat all the enemies in order to clear the shrine. As the shrine’s description suggests, there’ll be barrels, lamps, and even a boulder that you can move or hit in order to damage your enemies, like traps in the field. It’s not required to do so, however, but use whatever you can find - enemy drops to Fuse into Weapons, or dried leaves on the ground to burn enemies, in order to clear the shrine.
The closest enemies to your right will be a Soldier Construct I and a Soldier Construct II, with a Boulder nearby you could use. Going counterclockwise, the next enemies will be two Soldier Construct IIs. If they haven’t noticed you already, you can hit the lamp above them and then use Ultrahand to drop a nearby Barrel on them as they try to chase you. After that will be another Soldier Construct II and then finally another Soldier Construct I.
Your equipment will be returned to you.
Defeat all six enemies and you’ll be given all your gear back. A gate will unlock that and behind it will be a chest containing a Mighty Construct Bow. Examine the structure behind the chest with green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock the Otak Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
