Jiukoum is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Jiukoum Shrine is a Built for Rails Shrine testing the player's skills in finding the objectives that will solve the puzzles using Link's abilities. Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. It will still be available for fast travel so that can players return and complete the Shrine at a later time.

Jiukoum Shrine Walkthrough Guide

Reaching Jiukoum Shrine

The Jiukoum Shrine is located in the northwesternmost area of the Faron region, along the Popla Foothills. To get there, simply head to the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, launch up, and then glide to the southeast to the edge of the foothills. It’s a short distance so don’t stay too high when you begin your descent. You’ll find the shrine on top of the hills before Dracozu Lake.

How to Complete Jiukoum Shrine

Inside and down the stairs, you’ll find yourself in a short room, with some rails ahead of you along a relatively long hall. As the shrine description suggests, you’ll have to navigate your way through rails and build things accordingly in order to move forward in this shrine. In this first section, Attach the two square plates on your left together to make a platform that you can put over the rails. Use Ultrahand to place them over the rails which incline downwards. Hop on and your weight should allow the platform to glide down along the rails.

In the next section, there’ll already be a platform on the rails. Quickly use Ultrahand to take it off the rails first as it’ll slowly slide down on its own. On your left is a chest containing a Sticky Elixir. Attach the three square plates nearby to make a bridge. Place it over the rails so you can reach the chest. Jump and glide back down to the main rails. If you look at the rails you’ll have to ride, they’ll curve and turn to the left at some point, which means if you ride the platform as it is, you’ll just head straight at the curve and then plummet down the gap. To make this work, attach two of the square plates as sort of legs for your rectangular plate. Attach them vertically under the rectangular plate, making sure there’s more than enough space in between them for the rails. Place your creation on the rails and hop on for a ride. The square plates should allow you to curve with the rails this time and get to the next section.

Head up the stairs to some more plates and some Fans. This time you’ll need something to propel you upwards because of how the next sets of rails are pathing. Additionally, this time there’ll be two sets of rail as well. To make this work, apply the same concept as you did in the previous section, but this time the square plates you’ll Attach vertically under the rectangular platform will have to be even farther apart so that they’ll hook over the inside rail of each pair of rails. Basically, that’ll make it so you Attach them as far apart as you can on the rectangular platform. Afterward, take the three Fans and Attach them equidistant to each other to your makeshift cart, facing the back. Lastly, if you look at the rails they’ll stop at some point and switch to a single set of rails. To make sure you don’t veer off track on your ride up, place the third square plate right in the middle of the rectangular platform as a third leg. When you’re ready, hop on and activate the Fans to start your ride. When the rails switch, the middle leg of your makeshift cart should fit in between the singular pair of rails. Enjoy the winding ride all the way to the end of the shrine.

Examine the green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock the Jiukoum Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
