Ganos is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Ganos Shrine is a special Shrine, usually containing no further puzzles, that you'll only be able to access after completing its corresponding Shrine Quest. Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. It will still be available for fast travel so that can players return and complete the Shrine at a later time.

Ganos Walkthrough Guide

Reaching Ganos

The Ganos Shrine is located in the southern islands of the North Tabantha Sky Archipelago in the Hebra Sky. The shrine entrance can be found by first heading to the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower and launching up to reach the sky islands. Once you reach the highest point, whip out your Paraglider immediately and glide north toward the large Lego sphere. Aim for one of the lower floating islands surrounding the Lego sphere, marked by a lamp on a tower. In the corners of the island, you will find platforms with Rockets, guarded by Soldier Construct Is. Obtain the Rocket from the northeastern platform and bring it with you to the northwestern platform. You’ll have to Attach and use the Rockets to the platform to get on the large Lego sphere. Attach them one by one such that they are either launching you upward or diagonally toward the sphere. After successfully reaching the Lego sphere, head north and then jump and glide to a slightly larger island that resembles the letter T to enter the North Tabantha Sky Archipelago. You can find the shrine entrance at the eastern edge of the island.

How to Complete Ganos

Seek the crystal connected to the beam, and offer it at the shrine. Do so, and I will grant you a light that banishes evil.

Examining the runes will start the Shrine Quest The Tabantha Sky Crystal, which you’ll have to complete to allow entrance into the shrine. To do so, you’ll have to find the crystal, which the green light from the shrine should now be pointing to, and bring it back to the shrine entrance. You’ll notice that the green beam of light shooting from the shrine is pointing below the island. Head to the north side of the island and jump down to a lower island to the north, where a Flux Construct III is waiting. The shrine crystal to which the green light is pointing to is actually Attached to the construct’s shoulder. You can actually Detach it with Ultrahand without fighting the construct at all. After you do so, head to the eastern part of the island where your escape route is waiting.

To defeat the Flux Construct III, you’ll have to keep finding its weakness, marked by red-eye symbols, regardless of whatever form it takes. In its base form and in its cube form, you can use Ultrahand on the marked cube to shake it off and stun the boss, allowing you to hit it with your strongest attacks. When it changes into a platform, this method will not be available. Instead, you’ll have to ride one of the cubes it’ll throw at you and use Recall on it for a free ride straight to its marked cube, where you can again pile on the damage until it goes down. Regardless of whether or not you choose to fight it, Attach the shrine crystal to the flying vehicle waiting at the eastern edge of the island. Make sure to Attach some more Batteries to it in case it runs out. Ride it back up to the T-shaped island and bring the crystal in front of the shrine entrance to complete the Shrine Quest and allow yourself entry.

You who offers the crystal. I will grant you a light that banishes evil.

Inside will be a chest containing a Diamond. Head up the stairs and examine the green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock Ganos Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
