Mayausiy Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Mayausiy Shrine
The Mayausiy Shrine is located in the northwest area of the Central Hyrule region, in the Hyrule Ridge, within the Forgotten Temple. To get there, head first to the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower, launch up, and then glide northeast until you reach the Forgotten Temple. If you fall short for any reason, you should land on the Tanagar Canyon, so simply make your way northeast on foot and climb up the entrance of the Forgotten Temple at the end of the canyon. Inside, the temple just follow the path forward, climbing and gliding as you need to move forward until you reach the shrine at the end.
How to Complete Mayausiy Shrine
Inside you’ll find yourself in a large chamber, and there will be two sets of blocks in front of you. The set on the left forms a complete rectangular shape, while the set on the right looks incomplete. Lastly, there are also smaller L-shaped blocks farther to the right. As the shrine’s description suggests, the objective here is to use the smaller pieces in order to make the set of blocks on the right into a more complete shape, like the set of blocks on the left. To do so, use Ultrahand to take one of the L-shapes and rotate it such that you can see a flat side of three blocks, with the lower left block missing, and then fit it on top of the block closest to you, protruding from the incomplete set. The resulting shape should have one protruding block on its back row to the right. Grab the other L-shape and fit it in to make the set into a complete shape. Doing so should open the gate to the next area.
Inside the gate, follow the path to a Captain Construct I. Head up the stairs to a platform to find a puzzle with the same formula, but with bigger sets of blocks. There’s a chest on top of a platform here containing a Large Zonai Charge, behind the smaller block pieces. Use them to create something to climb up on to get to the chest. Go back in front of the incomplete block, and take the L-shape piece and rotate it such that it looks like a mirrored L-shape. Place it right on the first row of the incomplete shape, on the right side. Next, take the upside-down T-shaped piece and turn it around to make an actual T-shape. Place it to the left of the mirrored L-shape you just fit in, creating the missing corner of the incomplete shape. Finally, take the last piece and rotate it accordingly to create the complete cube.
After solving all the puzzles, the final gate will unlock. Examine the structure behind it with green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock the Mayausiy Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
