Tukarok Shrine Walkthrough Guide
Reaching Tukarok Shrine
The Tukarok Shrine is located on the eastern edge of Central Hyrule, in the middle of some trees near the Wetland Stable. There’s no special way to get there, so just head to the stable and head south to the shrine.
How to Complete Tukarok Shrine
Inside and down the stairs, you’ll find yourself in a large hall with some closed gates on either side. Move forward past them and down to a lower area where you’ll find a cart and a large runed sphere. As the shrine description suggests, you’ll have to figure out how to move forward with the sphere. Attach the sphere to the cart and hit one of the Big Wheels to move it across the lava. Up the stairs in the next area, you’ll see a block attached to an inclined slider, and beside it are some steps propped up by some thin poles. Take the sphere from your cart and attach it to the top of the inclined block. Next, attach the Big Wheel nearby to the side of the block, like a one-wheeled cart. There’ll be a thin plank to your left you can then attach to the side of the Big Wheel, to function like a propeller. Hit the Big Wheel and as it rotates, the plank should be pushing the propped-up steps to bring the block forward. Head up the ladder and then bring the sphere with you as you go along the path to the right and down the stairs. In this next room, you’ll see three lanes of water with some rafts with Big Wheels attached to them. There’s also a ladder past the rafts, leading to a ledge across the room as well. Attach the sphere to the raft to your right. There’s a chest hiding under the second lane containing a Strong Zonaite Sword. Simply use Ultrahand to grab it. Next, attach the two wooden planks to the side of each of your raft’s Big Wheels, to make propellers, similar to how you made one with the block in the previous room. Hop on to the raft and then hit one of the Big Wheels to start the slow journey across the waters. This was how it was intended to be cleared, however, you can also just find a way to bring the sphere up with you to the ladder with Ultrahand, and bring it with you across the room through the ledge. On the other side, put the sphere on the elevated tile to open the gate and then bring it with you across. Place it in its intended slot on the runed plate in the next room.
Head out the gate that will open and examine the green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock the Tukarok Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
