Taunhiy Shrine is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Taunhiy Shrine is a Combat Training: Archery Shrine, teaching the player how to do certain actions and use them against minor Enemies. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. It will still be available for fast travel so that can players return and complete the Shrine at a later time.

Taunhiy Shrine Walkthrough Guide

Reaching Taunhiy Shrine

This shrine imprisons and purifies the ancient evil. This shrine purifies the ancient evil. You who have entered here, heed my instruction.

Taunhiy Shrine can be located on a sky island below Courage Island, in the Central Hyrule Sky. To get there, head first to the Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower near the Hyrule Ridge, launch up, and then glide to the southwest. You’re aiming to get to an island marked by a circular device and an arch. Examining the green runes on the circular devices to start a diving challenge, which will have you jump and dive into a number of hoops until you reach the pool of water at the bottom. When you successfully complete the challenge, the shrine will appear at the western edge of the island with a pool of water.

How to Complete Taunhiy Shrine

Draw your bow in midair to heighten your senses. Focus, target your enemy with an arrow, and release. Your other attacks are ineffective here. Ready yourself.

When you enter the shrine and move forward, a Training Construct will activate, and you will be given instructions on how to slow down time as well as reminders on how to use your Bow and Arrows. Ride the gusts of wind here and while you're in mid-air, press and hold down the ZR button to aim at the head of the construct and draw your Arrow, and then release the button to fire the Arrow.

Well done. Heighten your senses again, take aim, and defeat the enemies.

After you hit the construct just once, two more will appear and you’ll be prompted to hit all three of them once on the head each.

You have proven your mastery. Now proceed to the innermost chamber.

They’ll all go down in one hit, and the gate should open in front of you. Head inside to find a chest containing a Strong Construct Bow. Examine the green runes for a Light of Blessing and unlock the Taunhiy Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
