Marari-in Shrine is a Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Marari-in Shrine is a special Shrine that has no puzzles to solve but is more difficult than usual to get to. Shrines are mini-dungeons, housing quick trials such as puzzles or short enemy encounters. Once a Shrine has been completed, the player obtains a Light of Blessing, an item key to obtaining more Heart Containers and Stamina Vessels, and the Shrine is unlocked as a Fast Travel point. If the Shrine has not been completed but has been activated, it will be marked in yellow on the map. It will still be available for fast travel so that can players return and complete the Shrine at a later time.

Marari-in Shrine Walkthrough Guide

Reaching Marari-in Shrine

Marari-in Shrine is located on the southeastern edge of the Necluda region, in the Eventide Island Cave under Koholit Rock, on Eventide Island at the southeastern edge of the entire map. The easiest way to find the shrine would be to start the Side Quest Seeking the Pirate Hideout. To do so, head first to Lurelin Village and then head southeast, past Rimba Beach, and onto Cape Creasia. Head for the eastern edge called Soka Point. Use the logs, planks, Fans, and Steering Stick there to make a raft powered by Fans. Use this to head to Eventide Island to the east.

Speak to Sesami along Toronbo Beach to start the Side Quest. Eventually, after cleaning some initial objectives, he’ll tell you about a pirate ship on the back side of the island. Head to the south side of the island, on Koholit Rock. and then glide down to the waters to find a hidden cave entrance. You’ll find the pirate ship inside Eventide Island Cave. Circle around the ship first to find a ladder up. Climb it to be greeted by two Blue Bokoblins. Inside the ship will be two Silver Bokoblins and a Silver Boss Bokoblin. Defeat them all to progress with the Side Quest. Climb up the ladders behind them to find the shrine deeper in the cave. You can use the wooden planks on the ship to make a bridge to get to the shrine. There’s a chest to the left containing a Topaz, and another on top of some wooden boxes to the right, containing a Silver Rupee.

Inside the Deplian Badlands Cave, you’ll have to drop down into a darker area. Use Brightbloom Seeds as necessary for you to navigate the cave to get to the shrine. Turn left at the immediate fork to find two Blue Horriblins and one Black Horriblin waiting for you on the ceiling. Defeating them will allow you to open the chest above which contains a Soldier’s-Claymore Stick. After jumping down take the right path, to the west, and follow it to the end to find the entrance to the shrine on your left.

How to Complete Marari-in Shrine

Inside will be a chest containing a Ruby. Head up the stairs and examine the green runes to obtain a Light of Blessing and unlock Marari-in Shrine on your map for Fast Travel.
