Guidance from Ages Past Quest Complete Description
At last you met the voice's owner, Mineru, the Sage of Spirit. She transferred her spirit from the Purah Pad, where it had resided, into the secret stone. She told you of a battle with the Demon King in the distant past, known as the Imprisoning War, and of Princess Zelda's resolve to restore the Master Sword. Mineru's spirit will aid you in the construct she inhabits.

Starting Location
Upon finishing the Main Quest: Secret of the Ring Ruins, at the conclusion of Dragonhead Island, the story mission Guidance from Ages Past will commence automatically.
Track The Light
Collect the green laser device and proceed along the pathway situated behind it. Then, assemble a Wing using two Fans and a Steering Stick, attaching the laser device to the front of the wing. Activate the fans and manipulate the steering stick to govern the wing's movements. Descend with the wing towards the destination indicated by the green laser, which consistently directs towards a specific location. This location refers to the ruins encompassed by water to the north of Tobio's Hollow. Safely land the wing at that spot.
Separate the green laser from the wing and position it on the altar, aligning the laser beam to shine upon it. This action triggers a cutscene and unveils a concealed passage leading underground. Proceed along the pathway and position the laser on the central pedestal of the elevator. Another cutscene will initiate, causing the elevator to descend underground to the Construct Factory in the Depths. Turn around and interact with Muokuij Lightroot to illuminate the surroundings. Next, employ the Ultrahand to retrieve the green laser and insert it into the designated "head" section of the altar directly ahead. The laser will align itself accordingly.
Afterward, your task is to construct a body for Mineru by visiting the four depots to gather the necessary parts. These depots are located near the Construct Factory and can be easily identified by their distinctive green light. Let's explore each depot individually in the following order: southeast, southwest, northwest, and northeast.
Reach Left-Leg Depot
Let's begin with the Left-Leg Depot, located at the bottom right (southeast) when facing Mineru's statue. You can find it at coordinates 0960, -2298, -0557. Enter the depot and interact with the green altar, causing it to lower a green box, close the entrance door, and open the gates above. Utilize the Ultrahand to grab the green box, lift it over the wall near the entrance (rotate the box if needed to fit), and proceed to climb up the wall.
Rotate the wheel in a counterclockwise direction to gradually lower the bridge. Adjust the bridge to a steep angle of approximately 60°, facing upwards. Place the green box on the bridge and attach a rocket on top of it (rockets can be found in the corner behind the bridge). It is recommended to create a manual save at this point. Your objective is to hit the rocket on the box, allowing it to propel the box upstairs, with the bridge acting as a ramp.
If the box fails to reach the desired height, adjust the bridge to a higher position. In case you run out of rockets, reload the manual save. Once the box lands upstairs, climb the wall to reach it. Use the Ultrahand to pick up the box and carry it toward the open wall on the right side. Drop it through the opening, outside the depot. Return to the Construct Factory while carrying the box and place it in front of the statue. Utilize the Ultrahand once again to break the box and position its contents in the leg part of the statue.
Reach Left-Arm Depot
The subsequent Depot is situated at the bottom left of Mineru's statue (southwest) when facing it. The coordinates are 0752, -2382, -0524. Activate the green altar inside the depot, causing the green box containing the arm to descend. Lift the door on the left side and cast Recall to keep it elevated. Use the Ultrahand to lift the box through the door and quickly pass through it before Recall expires.
Upon entering the next room, which is filled with lava, you need to transform the box into a vehicle to traverse the lava. Take the two wheels from the door and place one on each side of the box. Additionally, retrieve the steering stick located in the right corner and position it on top of the box. Climb onto the box and utilize the steering stick to drive it forward, crossing the lava.
As you approach a narrower path of lava, detach the box from the wheels and steering stick. Use the Ultrahand to hold the box as far away as possible from the other end of the lava, then drop it into the lava. Ascend the ladder located beside the first lava path you traversed. At the top, jump to the next platform, positioning yourself directly facing the narrow lava path. Glide across the lava from this vantage point. After landing, once again employ the Ultrahand to pick up the box and bring it closer to you. By doing so, you successfully transport both yourself and the box across the lava. If the box is out of reach, you can climb the nearby ladder and glide back across to place the box closer to the end.
Proceed to the next door, following the same process as before: lift the door and use Recall to keep it open, allowing you to pass through with the box. In this room, you will find two fans and a steering stick. Attach one fan to the back of the box and position the steering stick on top of it. Place the box in the water, climb aboard, activate the fan, and use the steering stick to navigate it down the river. The river will lead you directly to the Constructor Factory. Carry the box to the statue, use the Ultrahand to open it, and insert the arm into the statue as intended. Use Ultrahand to pop it open, and insert the arm into the statue.
Reach Right-Arm Depot.
The subsequent Depot is located at the top left of Mineru's statue (northwest) when facing it. The coordinates are 0641, -2106, and -0519. The stairs leading to the entrance are obscured by red gloom, but you can safely glide there from the northern rocks. It is advisable to activate the Uisihcoj Lightroot on the nearby hill to illuminate the area. Upon entering the Depot, interact with the green altar, prompting a green box containing the right arm to descend.
Place the box onto the conveyor belt on the right side. It will be automatically pushed upward, so follow its path. The following section features a long electrified rail, accompanied by a collection of wheels. Attach one wheel to the back left of the box and another to the front right. Position the box on the rail in this manner, and it will travel across the rail in a straight line.
By placing a wheel on each side, the weight distribution helps stabilize the box, preventing it from falling off the rail. Alternatively, if you possess a Fan in your inventory, you can simply attach it to the back of the box, allowing it to slide smoothly along the rail. Climb the ladder on the opposite side of the rail and carry the box outside. Attach the two wheels to the sides of the box, ensuring they are low enough to touch the ground. Additionally, place the steering stick on top of the box. Drive the box back to the statue, use the Ultrahand to open the box, and position the arm onto the statue as intended.
Reach Right-Leg Depot

Utilize Mineru's Construct for Transportation To The Spirit Temple
Mineru's body has been fully restored and can now be ridden as a mount. Head towards the designated yellow waypoint on the map. Keep in mind that moving with Mineru consumes the battery, but remaining stationary allows the battery to recharge. You can attack enemies using the L and R buttons, and guard by pressing the ZL button.
Follow the path to the east of the Construct Factory. Along the way, you will encounter areas illuminated by white lights where you can attach various Zonai devices to Mineru's Construct. For instance, holding the X button and then pressing the Y button allows you to attach a fan, greatly enhancing mobility. You can also equip Zonai Parts as weapons for the hands. If you find enemy encounters too challenging, you have the option to dismount and wait for your Sages to defeat the enemies. Alternatively, you can proceed on foot, and Mineru's Construct will follow you. Activate Lightroots along the way to improve navigation through the area.
Should you encounter destructible stone walls, use weapons such as the spiked ball on Mineru's hand or a ranged weapon to break through the rocks. When you reach the Spirit Temple, you will come across a steep wall that Mineru's Construct cannot climb. On the right side, below the temple, you will find rockets. While riding Mineru, attach the rockets to the back by holding the X button and pressing the Y button. Then, stand in front of the steep wall and press the Y button to activate the rocket on the back, propelling you upward like a jetpack.
Reach The Spirit Temple
Inside the temple, proceed straight ahead until you reach an owl statue, marked by the quest marker. While riding Mineru's Construct, press the A button to interact with the owl statue. As a result, the green laser mask will illuminate the owl statue, activating the elevator. Once the elevator reaches its destination, continue walking straight ahead, crossing the area enveloped in red gloom. This will trigger another boss fight against the Seized Construct.
Engage In A Boss Fight Against The Seized Construct
The Seized Construct is a large Construct resembling Mineru's Construct, which you are currently riding. Begin by attaching the two Spiked Balls to your Construct's hands. Hold the ZL button to block all incoming attacks. After successfully blocking an attack, seize the opportunity to strike the boss three times, pushing it towards the barbed wire surrounding the arena to inflict damage. Repeat this pattern. Be mindful of the boss's special attacks. Ordinary strikes can be easily blocked. However, when the boss swings two yellow electric whips, evade by running sideways in circles around it as these cannot be blocked. Once the boss misses a powerful strike, it will cease using the electric whips. When it charges a blue cannon, hold the block button and simultaneously move sideways to avoid being hit. Subsequently, advances toward the boss while it charges a new shot and delivers three hits. In the second phase, when the boss reaches half of its health, it will begin to fly. Position yourself directly underneath it as it ascends and utilize the ZL button to block. After it lands, launch your attack (note that it may remain airborne for approximately a minute).
Successfully Complete the Quest
Upon completion, you will receive a new Main Quest called Trail of the Master Sword. At this point, you have the option to return to Purah in Lookout Landing in order to conclude the Find the Fifth Sage quest. This marks the completion of the Guidance from Ages Past Main Quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
