Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Find Princess Zelda Information

Find Princess Zelda Quest Description

"You found yourself on a strange island in the sky after you awoke. A steward construct claimed that Princess Zelda gave it her Purah Pad, all to get it into your hands.
The device's map shows a yellow point of light. The construct said that's where you'll find the princess."

You didn't find Princess Zelda on the sky island where you awoke. When you touched the light in the Temple of Time, you felt her presence, however faintly, as a voice rang out in your mind: "Link, you must find me." Where is Princess Zelda? Was there anything more she was trying to tell you?

Find Princess Zelda Quest Complete Description

Link begins his search for the voice that he heard upon awakening. This quest takes Link to several destinations in his search and will learn a new skill to help him in his journey. Help Link get to his destination by utilizing his skills, and making use of the items found in the environment.

Zelda TotK Find Princess Zelda Quest Walkthrough

To begin the quest, make sure you have it tracked in the Adventure Log. This allows you to see the golden objective marker in the northern area of Great Sky Island-- and that is your destination.

Once you're done checking your map, interact with the green shrine next to the Steward Construct to create a bridge. Cross the bridge, turn left, and jump into the water below. You have to be careful not to dash here or you might land on the ground and die of fall damage. You need to make sure that you will hit the water.

Check your map once more to check your destination and then look for a big stone temple in the distance, where you need to be. There will be enemies along the path and it's your choice if you want to fight them or run past them. However, it is important to note that these monsters will drop parts that are useful later, so if you plan on storing materials, you may want to fight the monsters now.

Next up, you will encounter another Construct near a campfire that will teach you about roasting food at campfires. Afterward, swim through the pond and climb the stairs to the Temple of Time. You have to fight a powerful guard when you get to the top and the best approach is to throw one of your weapons at the guard to stun and disarm it.

Approach the gate and interact with the glowing green mark on the Temple Door. This will trigger a cutscene and will mark the start of a new main quest. After meeting Rauru it will be revealed that it was his voice that you heard in the cave earlier, and he also helped to replace your arm.

To continue this quest, you must do another main quest. Follow The Closed Door Walkthrough first, then come back to this page when you're done with the quest.

Explore Temple of Time Zelda: TotK

After finishing the previous quest, climb the stairs and approach the glowing golden bead on the pedestal. This will trigger a cutscene and will give Link the Recall ability. It allows you to reverse an object's movement at any time. It basically allows Link to manipulate time.

The view behind the pedestal is two rotating wheels. Jump on the platform on either side and then use your Recall ability. This will turn back the waterwheel and give Link the platform needed to climb up to the balcony. Walk closely to the wall and find the pillar to squeeze through. You will find an Angel Statue in this area, that will let you recover your health if needed. Behind the Angel Statue is a big door, opening this will drain Link's health but don't worry, that is normal! Upon attempting to open the door, Link will be greeted by Rauru. He tells you that Link is not yet strong enough and that you need to increase his heart limit (or Vitality).

After this, the fast travel will be unlocked and Raura marks the 4th shrine on the map: The Nachoyah Shrine.

Guide to Nachoyah Shrine Zelda: TotK

With the fast travel unlocked, check your map and look for the Room of Awakening in the Southern part of the map. This will take you back to the starting area where Link awakened. Make a left turn and locate the 2 moving waterwheels on the wall. You will be needing two skills in this scenario: Ascend & Recall. Find the wheel that is higher or the one on the left side. Use the Ascent ability to get on top of the wheel. Immediately upon landing, cast the Recall ability to reverse the wheel, and jump off into the tunnel to begin your path to the shrine.

Once you're at the top, you will find a raft. Jump on it and use the Recall ability to make it flow backward. Do the same thing on the second raft. There will be a bonus chest on left, you can reach it by casting Recall on the waterwheel. As you walk further, you will find a gate with two watch hands. Watch the hands closely, and when they overlap, you must cast Recall on them together. This will allow Link to pass through the gate long enough to walk through it. You will find a green shrine at the end, interact with it to receive a Light of Blessing

Open the Second Door in Temple of Time Zelda: TotK

Travel to the Temple of Time and then pray at the Angel Statue. Choose "Heart Container" from the dialogue to trade the 4 Lights of Blessings for 1 Heart Container. This will increase your total lives by one. You can now interact with the door behind the Angel Statue to push it open. Doing this will consume 3.75 of your 4 lives. This will also trigger a cutscene.

Follow the path ahead, then drop down the stairs and cast the Ascend ability. Do the same thing at the second stair set. You will find a golden orb at the end, interact with it. This marks the end of the Find Princess Zelda Main Quest in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Continue the next main quest: To The Kingdom of Hyrule.
