Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Camera Work in the Depths Information

Camera Work in the Depths Quest Description

This Main Quest can be completed to unlock the Camera and Hyrule Compendium. The beginning of this quest starts with Josha showing  you an image of a figure on a piece of slate from the Depths. She thinks that it's evidence that people once lived there. Robbie wants you to explore and take a picture of it using the Purah Pad's camera.

Camera Work in the Depths Quest Complete Description

You returned to Lookout Landing with your picture of the statue. Josha said you'd made a big discovery that could lead to truly understanding what the Depths are. She's going to search through what others have found in the Depths, hoping to find more slate fragments with these mysterious people.

Zelda TotK Camera Work in the Depths Quest Walkthrough

The quest begins in the town of Lookout Landing, located in the Central Hyrule region. Talk to Josha & Robbie at the north gate of the town after starting Main Quest: Regional Phenomena. From there, head south to the quest marker. It's always a good practice to tag your active quests in the Adventure Log so you don't miss them. When you get to your destination, you will find a big, red hole in the ground. You need to jump down the hole and make sure to launch your paraglider before hitting the ground.

Land as close to the campfire as you can, and approach the man standing there. He will guide you to your next destination: where Robbie is waiting for you. You will find a glowing structure that looks like a mushroom close by. These are called Lightroots, and they illuminate their surrounding area. Aside from that, they also unlock permanent fast travel points- so make sure to interact with it when you see one.

Continuing on to the quest, follow the trail of campfires that Robbie left behind while making sure to avoid the red gloom on the floor. The red gloom reduces your maximum health temporarily, but you can fully restore it by interacting with a Lightroot. Continue to the next Lightroot West of your current location and interact with it to illuminate the area. In the next Lightroot, you will find Robbie standing next to a campfire. Approach him, and interact with Robbie.

Camera Feature & Hyrule Compendium in Zelda: TotK

Robbie unlocks two new features: The Camera and the Hyrule Compendium. The compendium allows you to track all types of materials, equipment, treasures, creatures, and enemies. Next, you have to take a picture using the new feature you just unlocked. Stand next to Robbie and press L and choose the camera icon from the selection. Make sure you include the statue in the frame and press A button to snap the picture. Then, click "OK" to save to the album.

When you're done with the quest, return to Lookout Landing and you can do this quickly by fast traveling to Lookout Landing Skyview Tower. After talking to them, they will reward you with 5 Zonaite and this marks the quest complete for the Camera Work in the Depths in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Continue to the main quest and read Regional Phenomena for the guide.
