A single-edged sword of the Sheikah tribe. Its small blade, now decayed, is suited for covert actions and yields more powerful sneakstrikes than ordinary blades.

Eightfold Blade is a One-Handed Weapon in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Weapons in Zelda TotK feature a diverse set of weapons, each having its own stats, strengths, and weaknesses. Players must remember that weapons will eventually break once their health starts to chip when it is used, however, luckily, weapons can be easily found by looting chests, destroying grass, stealing it from enemies, and crafting or infusing different weapons or materials.

    • The Eightfold Blade and its flawless variant actually have some serious power in this game, and its because of their bonus effect. Sneakstrikes on their own do 8x the damage of the normal weapon for only 1 durability (assuming that value hasn't changed since BOTW), and these weapons most likely DOUBLE that effect. Combine it with infusion and you can easily take out powerful enemies in a single hit.

On top of that, there exists an item that basically gives you multiple free sneakstrikes - the Puffshroom. Found all over the Depths and bought from Bargainer Statues, throwing this thing generates an instant smoke cloud that renders most things caught in it unable to see you - and thus eligible to be hit with a Sneakstrike. You don't necessarily need the Eightfold Blade for this, but given the usual 'bonus' for weapons that have one is to double it, you'd need a very high attack weapon to match an Eightfold Blade.

For example, assuming you stick a Silver Lynel Saber to this thing, thats 6+55= 61 attack. Double that to use as the base for the sneakstrike damage is 122! It's lowkey crazy, and I usually strap a lower level item to one of these and use it to turn Silver Boss Bokoblins into jokes together with Puffshrooms. I seriously recommend trying this out, it is so much fun to go full Ninja assault and turn a camp into mulch.

If you need one of these, one way is to get attacked by a Yiga. Best place to do that is probably the Clan Hideout, though if you've completed the quest that lets you get in, you can just buy one. Alternatively, follow the map links to find some.
