A Gerudo archaeologist named Rotana told you that there are stelae hidden in the shelter with information about the seven Gerudo heroines,
and that she would like to see pictures of their contents. Only by finding all of the stelae can you piece together the heroines' secret. You must still find 4 stelae.

Zelda TotK The Heroines' Secret Quest Walkthrough
To start "The Heroines' Secret" quest in Gerudo Town, you must first speak with Rotana. Upon speaking with her, she will request that you locate and photograph four Stelae scattered throughout the town. The first Stela can be found by destroying the rubble on the right side of the wall behind Rotana's room and taking a picture of it. To destroy the rubble, you can use the Cannon, which is managed by a woman nearby.
Next, head to the room with a man and woman drawing on the wall to find the second Stela. It is located near the stairs, and you will need to position yourself diagonally to make them appear connected before taking a photo. The third Stela can be found on a path to the left of the room with the man and woman drawing. There will be a few objects on the side, and you will need to blow the sand pile or grab the broken Stela piece with Ultrahand and put it back on the wall.
Once you have obtained the third Stela, head to the prison room by going back to Rotana and heading down the path on the left side of the prison room door. At the end of the path, you will see some vases on the shelf, which you can hit to start your journey to the room below the prison room. You will need to use Ascend to reach the prison room from there. It is important to take a picture of the Stela before talking to the prison guard, as she will kick you out if you fail to do so.
