It seems the owner had gone out to change the survey tem's beadsheets. Their tents are located in four different areas though, so Dai's not sure where the owner could be.

The village of Kakariko is situated on the boundary between the southern Lanayru Wetlands and northwestern West Necluda in the game. To start the quest "Out of the Inn," players need to go to the second building on the right, which happens to be the Inn. Once inside, they should speak to a man named Dai, who is behind the counter. However, Dai is not the Inn Owner but instead a random traveler who is helping the owner. Unfortunately, the quest to find the missing Inn Owner is somewhat vague, requiring players to investigate various campsites without providing specific locations. To locate the Inn Owner, players must exit the Inn and look for wooden platforms on a cliff to the right. Climbing and ascending the cliff will lead players to the Ring Ruins. From there, they should paraglide down to the campsite in front of the ruins, where they will find a man looking after the sleepy Inn Owner.
To wake up the Inn Owner, players must give him a Hearty Truffle. The man nearby will mention that he found a Hearty Truffle in a cave located behind the waterfall behind the giant green tree, not behind the hut. Players should climb above the waterfall and enter the cave by crouching. Once inside, they should explore the cave to find a single Hearty Truffle. The next steps are to place the Hearty Truffle on the Inn Owner's sleeping body and then speak to Dai at the Inn. Dai will reward players with a Sticky Elixir for their efforts, which is useful for climbing wet surfaces.
