Queen Gibdo is a Boss in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Queen Gibdo is responsible for the sand that plagues the area and is found in Lightning Temple, in the Gerudo region. This is not an optional boss as players need to defeat it to advance the story of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
The ruler of the Gibdos and the culprit behind the sand shroud that plagued the Gerudo region, the Queen Gibdo is an agile beast who built a nest in the desert to spawn her drones en masse. Her tough exoskeleton deflects ordinary weapons.

Riju's lightning ability can be very important during this fight, because hitting Queen Gibdo once she is inside the ability's radius you can hit it with an arrow and make it vulnerable. Alternatively, you can fuse a Fire Fruit or a Shock Fruit to an Arrow to create the same effect.
Queen Gibdo's will change its color to a sand-like white when it is vulnerable, you can use physical attacks to damage it while it is in this state.
As you deal, approximately, 25% of its total health as damage, Queen Gibdo will run away.
During the second encounter, you can repeat the same strategy to deal damage to Queen Gibdo. Abuse Riju's lightning ability to make it vulnerable and deal as much physical damage as possible. When you reach the 50% health threshold, you will enter the second phase of the fight.
In this period of the fight, Queen Gibdo will summon Gibdo Hives, to summon minions to fight you. These hives look like giant mushrooms and can be destroyed by hitting their glowing pink core. Note that you can let the Gibdo Hives alone and try to focus on the Queen, but the fight will be significantly harder as you have to be aware of the minions.
