Sludge Like is a Boss in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Sludge Like moves around using sludge, venturing into areas where other Like Likes don't dare to tread, and is found in Lanayru Great Spring. This is not an optional boss as players need to defeat it to advance the story of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
These sludge-loving Like Likes are nightmarishly mobile. They ooze sludge, and they use that sludge to move around, sometimes creeping into areas that other types of Like Likes tend to avoid. As if that weren't enough, they also spew sludge out of their maws to slow and capture prey.

Sludge Like Fight Strategy

Sludge Like, as it name implies, is covered in sludge. Sidon assists you during this fight. When his aura is charged, he can create a bubble of water that blocks an enemy incoming attack. If you swing your weapon while the bubble of water is active, it will be channeled into a long-range strike.
The boss will point its maw to the sky and shoot sludge all around it, leaving the ground stained. Use Sidon's aura to use water as a protective barrier to prevent being damage by sludge, and then swing your weapon while pointing at Sludge Like to "clean" it. This will remove all sludge from it.
Prepare an Arrow to shoot at its weak point, a purple ball that can be seen when the Sludge-Like opens its mouth. Shoot it and the boss will drop down, leaving its weak point defenseless. Hack at it as much as you can.
After a few hits, Sludge Like will submerge underground and reappear at another location, once again using its Sludge Burst attack, spreading sludge all over the area.
Repeat the process as many times as needed in order to defeat it.
