Master Kohga (Boss) is a Boss in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Master Kohga (Boss) is fought many times throughout the course of the game and is found in different locations. This is not an optional boss as players need to defeat it to advance the story of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
The leader of the Yiga Clan, who worship the Demon King. His larger-than-life presence makes him popular and deeply respected. After the Upheaval, Kohga latched on to Zonai devices as a way to increase his power. He had his underlings use the technology to make a variety of bizarre and deadly contraptions to kill you with.

Master Kohga (Boss) Strategy Writeup
During the first encounter with Master Kohga, he will be riding a vehicle that looks like a makeshift-monster truck. He will attempt to trample you using the vehicle, you only have to evade him.
Your first objective is to knock him off the vehicle. Using a Bow can really help you out during this fight, because when hit, Master Kohga will be stunned for a few seconds. That is the ideal moment to get near and deal as much melee damage as possible.
When his health drops below 25%, the makeshift truck will gain two rockets, one at each side, and he will attempt to run you over much faster. This, however, may cause him to crash against the bounds of the battlefield, leaving him stunned.

The second battle against Master Kohga, takes place at the Abandoned Gerudo Mine, and this time he doesn't have a truck-like vehicle. This time he has a plane and flies around the battlefield! As was the case in the first encounter, the Bow it is crucial to take Master Kohga down from his plane.
You can use certain platforms that are scattered throughout the battlefield as a trampoline. There are also a few rockets that can propel you into the sky. This will get you airborne, and may help you to hit Master Kohga. Tulin's Wind Burst is a useful ability to have during the fight.
A good tip for knocking the boss down, is attaching Keese Eyeball to your arrows. This will make knocking Master Kohga off the plane significantly easier than regular arrows because you don't have to aim perfectly.
Falling to the ground will leave him defenseless to your attacks, so attack him as many times as possible.
When his health bar drops to 50%, he will start acting a bit more aggressively and use explosive missiles. His plane will also change in design, adding a shield to the front of the vehicle.

Yes, Master Kohga isn't done with vehicles. For the third fight at the Abandoned Lanayru Mine, he uses a boat, and is accompanied by two minions that wield bows. There is a small raft to the side, use it to enter the water and get Master Kohga's boat.
You can use Yunobo's cannonball ability to hit his boat, if you want to remove the minions. It may also hit the boss, stunning him.
When you are close enough, jump from your raft and use the bow to land a hit on Kohga. This will stun him and both his minions will disappear. Use this moment to damage him as much as possible.
After a few hits, he will also disappear, and create another boat. When he is down to 50% health, Master Kohga will encase himself in a shield like structure for a few seconds, and attempt to throw boulders at you.

Master Kohga (Boss) Strategy Writeup
This final encounter at the Abandoned Hebra Mine, involves the final weapon the Yiga Clan have created. You will fight a mecha-like Zonai Construct. You will fight in a boxing ring, not unlike the fight with the Seized Construct.
You can throw Master Kohga and his mecha towards the borders of the ring, to stun them. He will leave the mecha and fall to the ground, making it easy to deal damage. You can knock it off the mecha, by shooting a well-aimed arrow towards him, but this may prove more complicated during the battle.
The mecha may use melee attacks, you can time your dodge to make a perfect one, and be able to land a Flurry rush attack on it.
When Kohga is below 50% health, a shield will encase him and protect him while he is riding the mecha. You won't be able to knock him off using Arrows. Electrical attacks may zap the mecha. Abuse electrical weapons if you possess any.

| Bombs | The mecha will create 3 homing bombs mid-air that will get close to you. | You can shoot them or, even better, use Recall when they are closing on you to hit the robot. This will disable the shield if it is up. |
