A spear of peerless grace cherished by the Zora Champion Mipha. Although Mipha specialized in healing abilities, her spearmanship was in a class all its own.

Lightscale Trident is a Spear Weapon in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Weapons in Zelda TotK feature a diverse set of weapons, each having its own stats, strengths, and weaknesses. Players must remember that weapons will eventually break once their health starts to chip when it is used, however, luckily, weapons can be easily found by looting chests, destroying grass, stealing it from enemies, and crafting or infusing different weapons or materials.

    • Ah Mipha. She who has the dubious honour of being the only member of the original four Champions not seemingly entirely forgotten by most of her race. She even got an entire Court named after her. (Side note: I despise the retcon that the Champion weapons were supposedly originally wielded by the ancient Sages. This is Miphas Spear and you cannot convince me otherwise, random Zora woman!)

Ahem. As for the weapon itself... its pretty damn good. Literally the most durable weapon in the game by base durability at a whopping 70, and the strongest Zora weapon - meaning either dousing yourself in water (or attaching a water item like an Opal to the end) doubles the attack power. Alas, like all Champion weapons, it is an expensive one to produce, and its raw attack can be surpassed easily with other broken options.

I would personally do what I do with all the Champion weapons - hang them in my house with pride, then go use something more easily renewable. In the spears case, Biggoron Swords for high durability at 60, Depths weapons for the Zora effect (and they can get modifiers, to boot). Sidon is more than capable of putting the trident to work in Miphas honour.
