A spear used by Rito soldiers, its point is now decayed. It still boasts quick attacks in midair, and it produces a strong wind.

Feathered Spear is a Spear Weapon in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Weapons in Zelda TotK feature a diverse set of weapons, each having its own stats, strengths, and weaknesses. Players must remember that weapons will eventually break once their health starts to chip when it is used, however, luckily, weapons can be easily found by looting chests, destroying grass, stealing it from enemies, and crafting or infusing different weapons or materials.

    • The Rito weapons were already a bit... hmm. Lower attack power than their contemporaries and nothing making them stand out. Now they have a unique effect, but its arguably one of the least useful in the game. Generating Wind Bursts is all well and good, but anyone who straps a fan to their weapon or shield, or the even more common Korok Frond, can do the exact same thing on the fly, without having to replace a broken weapon that (I think) consumes durability with its Wind Bursts (don't quote me on that).

Attacking faster in the air is also not the useful power it sounds like, given you can only do a slam attack from the air, and its not like thats particularly slow. The Rito are known for their bows anyway, so it isnt much of a surprise this one falls a little to the wayside. Its faster attack speed as a spear does make it more useful for targeted wind impulses, but I wouldn't recommend using this unless you really like the effect.
