A Gerudo spear with a decayed blade that is designed to draw force to its tip. Attaching a material greatly enhances the material's power but doesn't add as much durability.

Gerudo Spear is a Spear Weapon in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Weapons in Zelda TotK feature a diverse set of weapons, each having its own stats, strengths, and weaknesses. Players must remember that weapons will eventually break once their health starts to chip when it is used, however, luckily, weapons can be easily found by looting chests, destroying grass, stealing it from enemies, and crafting or infusing different weapons or materials.

    • The Gerudo line is the definition of "Fierce yet Fragile", or "Glass Cannon", if you will.

Decidedly more fragile than their Hylian and Zora peers, they make up for it with one of the strongest effects in the game for the cost of triggering it. For the mere price of fusing something to this weapon, that fused items power will DOUBLE. This makes the Gerudo weapons the highest raw attack power you can achieve without fufilling some secondary condition (such as triggering a flurry rush, being at critical damage, being wet, etc).

This, however, has a cost. The aforementioned reduced durability compared to their peers means it may not be wise to fuse away something too valuable lest you lose it before you can go to Tarry Town and unfuse it, and on top of that Gerudo weapons get vastly reduced bonus durability from fusion making them even more fragile than a more difficult to trigger peer (most notably the Zora weapons, whose buff almost mandates having the sage of water but otherwise has a long linger time and some of the best durability in the game).

In spite of this, however, I feel Gerudo weapons are a top tier pick. You can't really go wrong with any of them (except maybe the Scimitar). As for finding them? One spear always spawns up the stairs to the left after entering Gerudo Town (may require completing the zone quest first), and a full unmodified set always spawns in the local Temple after every Blood Moon (specifically in the linear section between the entrance and the central zone - the Spear is down one of the collapsing floors in a side hollow). Strap on something like a boss material, Dragon Spike, or a monster part you have a lot of, and get busy.
