The Koroks made this spear for Hylians. The shaft is made from a light, sturdy wood. Bursting materials attached to the spearhead can be reused again and again.

Forest Dweller's Spear + is a Spear Weapon in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Weapons in Zelda TotK feature a diverse set of weapons, each having its own stats, strengths, and weaknesses. Players must remember that weapons will eventually break once their health starts to chip when it is used, however, luckily, weapons can be easily found by looting chests, destroying grass, stealing it from enemies, and crafting or infusing different weapons or materials.

    • Ah, the flawless Forest Dweller's Spear, winner of "biggest power boost letdown 2k23". By all rights Gibdo Bones (which break in a single blow) should work on this... but no. Just Chu Jellies, Fruits, Puffshrooms, Muddle Buds. The stuff you would expect.

I have, however, discovered a niche that can't be easily replicated through attaching a Dragon Spike Shard or throwing a Muddle Bud/Puffshroom/Dazzlefruit - Splash Fruit and regular Chu Jelly. As anyone who's been to Zora's Domain in the wake of the upheaval knows, dealing with sludge is a pain, and the local sage power is not the... FASTEST option available. Thus, a frequent recommendation is to come packing an Opal Rod. But that is not the only option! By attaching a Splash Fruit or Chu Jelly to a Forest Dweller weapon, you can have unlimited water-element melee attacks, without the horrible contact durability of the Magic weapons!

Otherwise... well, the very materials that can benefit from this weapons recycling are outshone by more powerful, non-breaking materials that can be attached to better weapons. Only Chu Jelly/Splash Fruit, Dazzlefruit, Muddle Buds and Puffshrooms really give benefits that can't be acquired elsewhere, and even then you could just throw the things if you have enough supply. Its outshone as a non-metal weapon by the Zonaite series, which can get more attack AND don't burn, to boot. Unfortunately a gimmick weapon and little more.
