Yiga is an Enemy Type in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Enemies in the game tend to fall under certain enemy categories but may have different variants of the same species. Enemies from the species will generally have the same outlook but may vary in color, strength, and Locations. Despite their different colorway, they are still likely to drop a few common Materials. Smaller and more common enemies are also commonly encountered in groups.
The Yiga are members of the Yiga Clan that can appear in various locations. They tend to ambush Link as assassins in disguise or appear out of thin air. The Yiga Clan are led by Master Kohga and congregate in their hideout. Yiga can be lured by placing down Bananas.
The lowest-ranked members of the Yiga Clan. They've been dispatched all across Hyrule with a single task: seek out Link and end his life. They're a crafty bunch, sometimes disguising themselves as simple travelers or villagers to get the jump on you. Be wary of suspicious people you encounter. They're very agile and carry a bow and a one-handed sword. - Footsoldier
