Rusty Claymore

A two-handed sword not properly cared for. Although it can be used as a weapon, its durability is very low. Don't expect it to last for more than a few strikes.

Rusty Claymore is a Two-Handed Weapon in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Weapons in Zelda TotK feature a diverse set of weapons, each having its own stats, strengths, and weaknesses. Players must remember that weapons will eventually break once their health starts to chip when it is used, however, luckily, weapons can be easily found by looting chests, destroying grass, stealing it from enemies, and crafting or infusing different weapons or materials.

    • *slaps random breakable rocks* "This bad boy can fit so many Rusty Claymores"

Like all rusty weapons, low attack power and breaks quickly makes them best in the early game and not much else... EXCEPT! These things can be found EXTREMELY FREQUENTLY spawning from destroyed breakable boulder walls alongside smaller 'rocks'.

This is ostensibly to give you an opportunity to continue bludgeoning through a rock wall if you run out of hammers with which to do so, and I suggest you take up the offer - its a great way to save durability on hammer type weapons you don't want to waste, saving Bomb Flowers if you happen to be low on supply (which trust me can happen a LOT unless you go out of your way to farm them either via world pick-ups or buying in bulk from Bargainer Statues). And also good if you don't have the Lightning or Fire Sage Powers, which give you alternative means of doing some mining (albeit a tad inefficient).

Blessed be the Rusty Claymore, bane of breakable rocks and saviour of hammerless fools everywhere.
