NPCs in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are the non-playable characters players will encounter throughout their journey as they progress through the game. Some NPCs play an important role and often provide the player vital information and resources that will help in playing the game, they can come in the form of Merchants and Great Fairies as well.
The latest trailer for Tears of the Kingdom featured a few familiar NPCs from Breath of the Wild — Sidon, Riju, and Teba's son, Tulin. The trailer also featured what might be some kind of companion system, or at least teased that you may bring some friendly NPCs with you on some quests. It shows Sidon and Tulin soaring through the air with Link and fighting foes with him. The trailer also shows various friendly faces geared up and ready for a fight, so expect to face Ganon, unlike in other Legend of Zelda installments, with friends by your side.
