Cap of the Wild is a Helm in Zelda: Tears of the KingdomHelms are pieces of Armor worn on Link's Head to protect him from damage. Every piece of Armor is part of an Armor Set and Cap of the Wild is part of the Wild Set. When all three pieces of an Armor Set is equipped, Link is granted additional stats and abilities in the form of a Set Bonus.

 

According to legend, this cap was crafted for a hero who travels the wildlands. A Great Fairy has increased its defense to its maximum level

Each armor piece can be found in 3 separate Dark Skeletons located in The Depths. The Cap of the Wild is from the Hebra Dark Skeleton.

      Each piece of the wild set uses a different elemental dragon material, the trousers are dinraal, chest is naydra and the helmet is farosh
