Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Champion's Leathers Notes and Tips
- Other Notes and tips for the Champion's Leathers go here:
- You can sit on the light dragon and farm materials. It takes 10 minutes for the horn, scale, claw, and fang to respawn. Shards of Light Dragon’s spike take longer.
- You can strike the horn with a sword to get the horn or the body to get a scale and therefore stay on the light dragon as it slowly flies around Hyrule. It takes approximately one in game day for the light dragon to travel about 1/4 of its route. It flies lower to the ground everywhere except around the Northeastern part of the map.

Honestly really disappointed with this piece of gear. In the first game it was unique, as it let you see enemy health numbers. In totk, it just isn't worth spending the time farming the light dragon to upgrade. There was no reason to nerf it that hard but they did and it is pretty useless imo, solider gear is more worth to upgrade
For the tier 2 upgrade, it requires 3 silent princesses and not 10 dandelions.
