A weapon made by the Sheikah using ancient technology. Its low durability is a downside, but it yields massive destructive power just before it breaks.

Royal Guard's Sword + is a One-Handed Weapon in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Weapons in Zelda TotK feature a diverse set of weapons, each having its own stats, strengths, and weaknesses. Players must remember that weapons will eventually break once their health starts to chip when it is used, however, luckily, weapons can be easily found by looting chests, destroying grass, stealing it from enemies, and crafting or infusing different weapons or materials.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Royal Guard's Sword + Notes & Trivia

  • Each of the pieces of the Royal Guard's Weapon set (One-handed, Spear and Two-handed) boast the second highest base damage out of any weapon in their category, being beaten soley by the Gloom weapons. As such, a wise Hylian would be keen to save these weapons for emergency situations or tough bosses, as well as fuse them with some of the strongest materials they have.
  • Their main weakness comes from their durability, which as stated in the description, is exceptionally poor compared to other weapons near their base damage, meaning they can be seen as glass cannon weaponry.

    • Take or Ultrahand away every single weapon held by a ghost you see in the Depths. I'm not entirely clear on the mechanics, but apparently the game will reroll the weapon the soldier can hold every time they despawn. Allowing them to respawn with something new is therefore critical to getting these to spawn in. Additionally, you must have destroyed the regular version of the weapon at least once. So get into Hyrule Castle and get hunting for those Royal Guard weapons!
